Our rescue terrier is very skittish. She thankfully (after months) trusts and loves us but she is the type to bolt away from anything unfamiliarOn walks this isnt much of an issue unless i drop her leashShe TAKES OFF because the leash is “chasing her”. Love them! Exactly what I was looking for!

My dad thinks its ridiculous, but his hands are much stronger than mine, especially since I started having trouble with carpal tunnel. Having this just as a little piece of insurance in case my dog manages to surprise me with a sudden tug was just what I was looking for. As a bonus, it's a nice add on for when I'm just feeling lazy as I walk her around the backyard and either don't want to hold on to the leash because my hands hurt or I need my hands free for something while I'm walking her. It was also very easy to attach, seems sturdy and is pretty comfortable for me. I may need to buy a separate leash for my dad, but it's worth it to me.

I bought this for use with my 60+ lb Staffordshire bull terrier, Athena. We like to go on long hikes but sometime holding the retractable got annoying especially after walking a few miles. This was such a great purchase! Super easy to use, makes those long walks more enjoyable and comfortable. I’ve had mine for 2 seasons now and the clip is still as strong as it was the day I got it!

My 6 year old Kangal would run, ripping the leash out of my hand everytime we encountered a bunny. Living beside conservation land during spring and summer, there are rabbits everywhere. Last time he crossed the street, I honestly thought I was going to watch my dog get run over. I purchased this item so if he does run, pulling the leash out if my hand, at least this is attached to my wrist.Gives me alot more control and alot more peace of mind. I use it on every walk. I highly recommend, especially if you have a dog like mine that loves chasing after rabbits.

This wrist strap, for retractable dog leashes, seems to be really well made. Thoughtful design features like a cushy, soft inner lining for the wrist and a screw-down lock-nut to keep the clip closed, make this feel very safe and "extra". I have 2 smaller dogs and I use a cane to walk, so having both leash handles in one hand, my WEAK hand at that, makes me worry that when both dogs take off to chase something, they nearly rip right out of my hand. This strap will hopefully give me more control and less worry, if that circumstance arises again.

Worked wonders for our new puppy when our young sons are walking her. No fear of him dropping the leash when the puppy pulls. She is only a 3 lb chihuahua but she runs super fast and is difficult to be caught.
